Be Thou My Vision

Be Thou My Vision is a Hymn that I love to play, and sing. The main reason is the  theology behind it.  It is a prayer asking for God to give us His wisdom, His word, so He can be first, not us.   What we are singing is, something we ought to ask every moment, every step we take: Christ, you be our vision.  But, let us remember that His vision is for His glory and not ours. “…Thou and Thou only, first in my heart..”.

I hope this recording can be of encouragement for you.   I posted the lyrics at the bottom so hopefully you can make them your own. May we all continue to seek Christ as our Vision.
